When I discuss open relationships with people, after initial uneasiness, I usually hear some variation of “I don’t have any problem with open relationships as a concept. It just isn’t for me.”
I want to show why that is wrong. Open relationships are for everybody.
What of our moral judgments? Are there some fundamental criteria under which we can say that the current regime or the actions of our leaders is wrong?
We are yet to consider that we might owe some form of moral consideration to something that is not a member of the moral community now but, through human choices, eventually will be.
